Science Labs
Every gurukulam institution is provided with well equipped laboratories to get first hand learning experience by performing various experiments to develop practical skills, understanding of the nature of science, cultivating interest in science developing team work abilities and also encouraging the students to write research articles. Following laboratories are available for students at each gurukulam institution.
All the colleges have fully functional laboratories: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, microbiology, Mathematics and Computer sciences. These labs are well-equipped to help students achieve a hands-on experience to improve their technical and subject awareness and skills.
Physics Lab: The main objective of conducting laboratory in physics is to make the students to analyse the principles involved in the experiment and its applications. The experiments are related to the area of optics, mechanics ,waves and oscillations ,heat & acoustics, solid state physics, modern physics and electronics by which students get nurtured to acquire the knowledge in the core area of under graduation degree course.
Computer Lab: The college’s computer lab provides students with uninterrupted internet access and a scope to improve their computer operational skills. Each class has been allotted a slot of their schedule to computer education to achieve this end.
Mathematics Lab: Mathematics laboratory is a self explanatory lab with activities, in which students could come any time (free to them) and engage in the work, continue working on the problems /tasks, and use teachers as and when they are stuck. In this way the role of the teacher is not to how to progress in the activity but to facilitate inquiry with the mathematics in it. The facilitation could be done either by probing questions, giving an extra resource or asking to follow or discuss with peers.

Chemistry Lab : Laboratory teaching ensures a first-hand learning experience to the students.Chemistry lab work makes application of chemistry in everyday life more evident .Chemistry laboratory teaching imparts both the experimental knowledge as well as manual skills required in the field of chemistry.A well equipped chemistry lab can help a student to transform into a scientist, who in future will be the source for development of science in the world.
Botany Lab : Botany is one of the fundamental pillars of science. Botany laboratory gives students an opportunity to experience the concepts and structures in theory and convert them into practical knowledge. Classical botany experiments such as preparation of herbarium will strengthen the basic concepts. Experiments of applied botany such as genetics and biotechnology would pave the way for students to progress towards varied topics in life sciences in the future.
Zoology Lab : Zoology lab at our college provides scientific study of Animal Kingdom, along with its evolution, diversity and environment.Our zoology lab is well equipped with all necessary facilities for higher studies. Practical work involves
MICRO BIOLOGY LAB:Microbiology lab is the place where study of microscopic organisms: bacteria, viruses, archaea, fungi and protozoa takes place. A microbiologist studies the physiological, biochemical and genetic aspects of microorganisms.The microbiology laboratory is an essential part of effective infection prevention and control (IPC). The microbiology laboratory should be able to determine the most frequent microbes causing healthcare-associated infections, and perform at least some basic typing of microorganisms for epi- demiologic evaluations.
