Telugu is one of the Dravidian languages which was hailed as "Desha Bhashalandhu Telugu Lessa" by Sri Krishnadevaraya. It has been praised as the  Italian of the East.  It is the official language of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. Telugu Department was started 2017.Telugu language has inherited 75% of Sanskrit words and sounds.  Telugu is the only Ajanthabasha - Every word of it ends with an vowel sound.

VISION:

•  To make students learn the greatness of Telugu heritage, customs and traditions
•   Explain the need of Telugu language which has been losing its importance survival.

MISSION:

      The Department of Telugu has opted to promote the mother tongue. Implementing student centric methods like seminars, workshops, group discussions assignments, student study projects.  Enable the students to improve communicative skills and employability skills. Enable the students to develop good character and moral values and also to understand society.
