About SC / ST Cell

Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) have been identified as the two most backward groups of Indian Society. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward. The cell has been established due to support and to bring students from such communities in the main stream. The SC/ST cell of the college was established in 2017 with the purpose to empower the SC/ST students in the college. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from government agencies and other sources. They are also encourage to enroll for career orientation programs, which would equip them with the necessary skills to choose a career option.

Objectives :

• Ensure equal opportunity and Justice to the (SC and ST) Scheduled caste and schedule tribes students by providing them equal opportunities in the fields of education economic and social security.
• To create awareness among the SC/ST students regarding various scholarships.
• To counsel and guide SC/ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of collage life
• effectively.
• To ensure provisions of an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
• To arrange for special opportunities to enhance the carrier growth.
• To give special coaching for CUCET, Employability , ICET,PG Classes ,CAT,IIT JAM ,DATA SCIENCE, LIFE SKILLS
• for the SC/ST students.
• To give special online coaching for TASK, SWAYAM,MATLAB.

Activities :

• Awareness program on Santoor scholarship.
• Conduction of awareness programme for self defense with She team.
• Providing trainee programs life skills.
• To give special coaching for CUCET, Employability, ICET,PG Classes ,CAT,IIT JAM DATA SCIENCE, LIFE SKILLS
• To give special online coaching for TASK, SWAYAM, MATLAB.
• Conducting cultural programs like ADIVASI DIVAS, TEEJ FESTIVAL, SEVALAL JAYANTI at our college.
