Gurukulam strongly believes that effective teaching and learning of science involves a perpetual state of show and tell. Good institutions combine classroom teaching with laboratory experiments to ensure that their students grasp each and every concept thoroughly. It is also believed that laboratory teaching and experiments that are being conducted there help encourage deep understanding in students. Also students are able to retain the knowledge for longer when they see the experiments being performed in front of their eyes. There are several scientific theories and concepts that are difficult to explain directly from the books. Anatomy models, physics science kits, and chemistry science kits for instance make it easy to understand the otherwise complex theories of science. Hence with immense encouragement of Gurukulam, the institution has established various laboratories according to the guidelines of the University.

Following is the list of laboratories functioning in the college.

1. Computer Lab.

The lab is furnished with 30 working computers with a high speed internet facility.

• Well furnished lab with highly configured computers with latest software
• Broadband Internet facility available for all computers
• UPS facility Available for Backup

2. Physics Lab.

Physics laboratory is a place where experiments of Physics are carried out. It is the place where  “the scientific study of matter and energy and the relationships between them, including the study of forces, heat, light, sound, electricity and the structure of atoms” are tested.

3. Chemistry Lab

The general chemistry laboratory is designed to support and illustrate chemical concepts studied in the lecture portion of the course, as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and encourage analytical thinking.

4. Botany Lab

Plants provide an essential foundation on life on earth, therefore in depth basic and applied knowledge of this subject is of prime importance. Understanding this the institution has provided botany lab which is spacious, well ventilated and is equipped with the necessary instruments as per the syllabus by Kakatiya University.

5. Zoology Lab

Zoology’ is a branch of classical Biology that deals with the study of wonderful life of animals, hence also known as ‘Animal Sciences’. 

• The Department has sound infrastructure with well illuminated and well ventilated laboratory to cater the needs of the Bachelor's Degree.
• The Zoology Lab is well equipped with all the basic equipment, instruments, apparatus, slides and specimens required to run the Bachelors' programme.
