INTRODUCTION:-

• Eco clubs play a very important role in creating awareness about play environment among among the students.
• It is a platform where we get knowledge about environment and environment relatedissues, problems etc  
• The school environment club should be force behinde schodhe environmental and sustainabi activities at school.
• Organizing, Publicizing, Promoting and Monitoring all environmental sustainable events, activities and  problems.
• It is a wonderful way for the young people to develop a sense of ownership, school pride, adding to the community spirit.
• It gives students a real sense of responsibility towards environment.

Activities under Eco club:

1. Solid waste management:

• Forming litter picking groups in the school and collecting dry wastes in separate bins
• Preparing organic compost
• Preparing vermi compost
• Collecting and preserving the used note books, waste papers, news papers etc... for recycling purpose.

2. Eco Gardens:

• Developing kitchen garden
• Developing flower garden
• Developing medicinal garden
• Developing fruit garden
• Developing butterfly garden

1. Water Management:

• Preparing a Sock pit.
• Preparing drip and sprinkling system using waste water bottles.
• Poster making on "importance of water".

2. Eco Systems :

• Preparing Desert Eco System, Tree Eco System (Select a tree and prepare tree eco System), Home Eco System, Pond Eco Systems dieta pond in the school), and Forest Eco System (Diorama) through activities.

3. Endangered extinct species and field trip to Eco parks & heritage sites:

• Watching Videos on extinct, Endemic, Endangered species of Birds and animals.
• Visit to a Eco park, heritage sites etc.
• "Save sparrow" a project work.
• Preparing Bird feeders, Bird houses using plastic water bottles and other waste materials
• Preparing specimens of dead animals or insects.

4. Eco walk:

• Bird watch, Bug hunt, Animal chase, Tree quest, Eco Colors Leaf art, Painting Landscapes

5. Environmental issues Global Warming & deforestation, Greenhouse effect, Ban plastic:

• Literary activities like Debate, Elocution, Poster Presentation, Essay writing on environmental related issues.
• Learning Poems, Songs on Environment and Singing songs and reciting poems on environment
• Drama on Environmental related issues: A Drama/mime /role play etc.. Enacted by developing their own story on any environmental issues like Haritha haram, Global warming, and deforestation.
• Conducting Ralley's, flash mobs etc...
• Conducting awareness, campaigns by using Oggu katha, Burra katha and other folk arts on environmental related issues.

6. Environmental Movements:

• Conducting a seminar on different environmental movements in India (Bissnoi movement, Chipko Movement, Save Silent Valley Movement, Jungle Bachao Andholan, Narmada Bachao Andholan, etc.)
• Eco Calendar: Preparing a calendar using charts and card boards and listing out the important days of environment like world environmental day, world forest day and celebrating them. etc.

7. Wall magazine on Environment and organizing environmental mela (at the end of the year):

• Preparing a wall magazine on all the activities related to ECO club.
• Organizing environmental mela and enjoying the show
