History:

• The University Grants Commission (UGC) has given priority to the downtrodden     students and staffs during IX plan period and given direction to all the universities   to establish SC/ST Cell.
• The SC/ST Cell at Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College Suryapet in  the year 2017.
• After the establishment of the Cell in the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential  Degree College Suryapet, it specifically concentrated on the welfare of the SC/ST  students and Staff.
• The main aim of the Cell is to monitor the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (MHRD) and by the department of Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of Telangana from time to time.

Mission:

• The Mission of the cell is to construct an Environment for Political, Religious, Social Justice, Economic, Democracy and Equality among all SC/ST Fraternity

Vision:

• The Vision of the cell is to Unite all the SC/ST Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff and to Build the Institute for the Centre of Excellence  and their Own Career.

Objectivies:

• The main Objective of the cell is to monitor the guidelines issued by  the University Grants Commission (MHRD) and by the Department of Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of Telangana from time to time.
• To give special Coaching for CUCET / ICET / CPGET for the SC/ST Students.

Activites Of the SC/ST Cell:

The Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College Suryapet has started the special activities so as to tune the students belonging to SC/ST. Remedial coaching classes are conducted in the following areas;

• ENTERY IN TO SERVICE Coaching Classes
• Coaching Classes for CUCET / ICET / CPGET
• Bank Coaching Classes.
• Employability Classes.
• Coaching classes for TSPSC, TSLPRB and UPSC Examinations under entry into services.
• Birth day celebrations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Dr.Babu Jagjeevan Ram.

• Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Day on 6th December in every year
• Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Anniversary Day.

The  SC/ST  Cell mentoring the following activities of the university:
