CAREER GUIDANCE CELL

Telangana tribal welfare residential degree college for women, Asifabad, since it was founded in 2017, the Career Guidance Cell has been operational from 2019 onwards. It helps students with all facets of higher education and career development by providing career assistance and counseling. Career Guidance Cell further assists every student in achieving their objectives by offering them individualized guidance.

1. Further Education: The CGC provides information about higher education opportunities, helps students choose the right courses and universities, and guides them through the application process.
2. Employment: The CGC keeps students updated about job opportunities, industry trends, and recruitment notifications. It also helps students in preparing for interviews, writing resumes, and developing essential skills for the workplace.
3. Entrepreneurship: For students interested in starting their own business, the CGC provides guidance on business planning, funding options, and market research. 

CGC - About Career Guidance Cell

The idea of 'Career Guidance Cell' is to create a safe place for students in seeking guidance, making well-informed decisions and building themselves a pragmatic career. This cell works to help students in finding ways to put their intellect, well-earned skills and interests to use, as they figure out their future. Our CGC has now become an integral part of the institution.

VISION:

The Career Guidance Cell was established to support students who are interested to purpose post-graduate education after the completion of graduation. The institution has made available an in-house counsellor who meets with students regularly and guide them for higher education based on their interest. Students are encouraged to visit the Career Guidance Cell in their 3rd year to take inputs and starting planning for getting an admission to their dream university. The Career Guidance Cell works with interested students to help from perform well in necessary competitive examinations and later provide counseling support to help students complete and submit their applications for admission to post-graduate programs.

MISSION:

To aim at overall grooming and personality development. To train students to meet the challenges of latest technology and development. To work towards improving the skills of individuals and various levels of job profiles. To enable students develop their personality.

Objectives:

• To generate interest about Competitive examination among students
• To provide awareness to the students about the various types of jobs offered both in the Central and State Government.
• To motivate students for appearing for the various exams.
• To help the students to choose the area where they are interested.
• To develop competitive skills through various types of objective tests.
• To train them by conducting aptitude test based on verbal and quantitative skills.
• To conduct mock interviews and train students in personality development and communication skills.

Outcome of the Activity

• Majority of the students started preparing for the Comp. Exams.
• Student got inspired for study.
• Enhanced the ability to face the test and interview conducted by different companies and succeed.
• Improve the ability to use current technologies, skills, and tools necessary for computing practices.
