About the Department
The Department of English has its origin in 2017, during the period the college was affiliated to the Kakatiya University, Warangal in Telangana, under the TTWRDC society. B.Sc , B.A& B.Com Degree Course with English as Second language was started in 2017. At present the Department is offering the 6 UG courses.
The department caters to B.Sc, B.A and B.Com is continuously upgrading itself according to the changing curriculum and needs of the time of Annual to Semester to CBCS systems. The collective efforts of students, staff and teachers have delivered wonderful results with continual increase in the number of students scoring 90% and above in papers.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The objectives of an English bridge course are to help students transition to college by:
*Bridging the gap : The course helps students bridge the gap between the subjects they studied pre-university and the subjects they will study in college.
* Improving grammar: The course helps students improve their grammar and LSRW (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) skills.
* Building confidence : The course helps students build confidence to transition to college and the new curriculum.
* Preparing for the classroom : The course prepares students for a classroom where English is the medium of instruction.
*Providing a foundation: The course provides a foundation in the course so that students don't face difficulties when college programs begin.
SOFT SKILLS (2019-20)
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Soft skills are qualities that can help people perform better at work and be more successful in their careers. The objectives of soft skills learning include:

Like other colleges in the city my college is not built to earn profits. The target here is to impart excellent education and come out with bright careers so as the shape our future in the best possible manner. Three years of my college life is amazing.
