About the Department :

Conducting educational tour to give an exposure to the students by visiting animal park, diary industry, sericulture, fisheries, poultry farms. Motivate students to conduct the seminars workshops on the topics included in the curriculum help them in achieving academic excellence providing me providing A comprehensive training in theoretical and tactical geology an environmental biology to the students.  Students  are equipped with adequate practical skills that will enable them function productively in society producing leadership Science and  technology sensitizing human society and animal welfare conservation and protection of biodiversity. Creating awareness of IUCN conservation of wild life. Developing interest in Research.

• Zoology Is the branch of biology concerned with the study of animal  the eyesight of zoology includes the interaction of animal Kingdom in their ecosystem such as classification habit structure Embryology distribution evolution and extinct species. The department promote the discovery and brought knowledge about the biology of animal’s evolution under environmental conditions. The department make them able to contribute effectively further development of Human welfare.

Value Added courses Provided by the Department 2022-2023:

• Department of Zoology in TTWRDC(G), Asifabad taken initiatives in collage for degree students to providing some certificate courses to develop self-Employability skills.
• The 1, 2 , 3  year degree students, faculty of the Department of Zoology is offered “ Certificate Course in circulatory system   .The certificate course is provided subject to the under mentioned conditions:

1.The selection process will be done through a written examination. 

2.Regular attendance is compulsory and Mandatory 

3.The classes are held during the zero hours. 

4.The number of seats is 20 only. 

5.Interest in the certificate course is highly counted. 

6.Participation in the activities is encouraged. 

7.Quality is Valued 

8.Acquisition of knowledge of the zoology in circulatory system  must be the motto of the students.
