  • About:

The Department of English was established since the inception of the Institution, in 2017. It meticulously strives to deliver education in the English language at Undergraduate level in the prescribed syllabus by Palamuru University. The department endeavors the students to procure proficiency specifically in the required four skills- listening, speaking, reading, and writing and it also enables the students to think critically, communicate efficiently, and write professionally.

 

  • Vision:

The Vision of the Department is to develop the department as a center for academic excellence through teaching that encourages and nurtures literary sensibilities, language competence and critical thinking and also to become a quality driven center in Communicative English that fosters critical and creative thinking, reading, writing.

 

  • Mission:

The Mission of the Department is to offer advanced, career-oriented post graduate programmes imparting knowledge, employability and life skills, as well as inculcating a vision of community growth and development and strong ethical values. The Department employs innovative interdisciplinary approaches and project based learning toward building strong foundation of language competence.
