About the Department:

Political science as department is part of our curriculum B.A. since 2018. This department plays a crucial role in both academic and societal contexts.

Political Science helps students to understand how political systems work, both locally and globally. By studying political structures, processes, and ideologies, individuals gain insights into how governments function, how policies are created, and the role of political actors.

The discipline encourages critical thinking, as students analyze and debate complex issues related to power, justice, human rights, and international relations. Political Science equips students with the tools to evaluate different political theories and their implications for societies.

 Political Science explores topics like diplomacy, international conflicts, trade relations, and human rights..Political Science is crucial as it helps shape better leaders, informed citizens, and responsible policymakers. It contributes to a well-functioning society by ensuring that individuals understand how political processes affect their lives and providing the tools for improving governance at all levels.

1)student seminars have been conducted in various topics related to the subject like state government, state governor, regional parties, pressure groups etc.

2)quiz competition on topic related to Indian constitution and politics has successfully conducted every year to make students get aware of our constitution and current topics

3) study projects are being written by students on various  topics like SHE team in Telangana,Regional parties in india,swatch bharat etc.
