PLACEMENT CELL

Role of Placement Cell :

The placement and training is one of the active and vibrant departments which assists the students in preparing a professional Resume, gives training for Group Discussion and conducts mock interviews to develop confidence in students. The major focus is to bridge gap between the corporate and the students of the college. This department has a tie up with many companies. Awareness is also being created among the students regarding various placement opportunities.

The Department carries out various Placement, Training and   Student Welfare activities throughout the year with a motto to cater the needs of the industries and institutes by providing skilled and motivated graduates through the placement cell.

The University has a dedicated placement cell and the placement officer. The placement officer interacts with the potential recruiters such as reputed MNCs, NGOs, Govt and private sectors on a timely basis.

Objectives of the Placement cell:

• To develop aptitude, communication skills, Group discussion and Personal interview skills for the students.
• To provide carrier counselling by reputed carrier counsellors and senior corporate personnel so that their chances of selection increases.
• To communicate, network and relationship building with the reputed organizations for pre- placement visits.
• To provide opportunities for the students to participate and get selected in their interested organization.
• To build a network of previously selected graduates which may help the current students to get awareness of employment possibilities in the present market.
• To provide guidance and counselling for self-employment and social entrepreneurship.

Placement Process:

The placement cell will be in touch with the final year students who are going to be graduates at the end of the academic year. Once a potential recruiter shows an interest in recruitment from the University, the placement cell asks the students to register their names for the employment opportunity.

Students Placements’:

• Lalitha, Anuradha and Madhavi of MPCs have secured a job through “Data Science” at Keertana Solutions Fintich in the year 2022.
• Kasthuri, B.Com student has secured job in GlobalLogic A Hitachi Group Company in the year 2023.
• Parameshwari, MPCs student is currently working as Accountant at Yashoda Hospitals.
