History of the Department:
The Department of chemistry was established in 2018.This Department was affiliated by Palamuru university, Mahabubnagar. B.Sc. ZOOLOGY concerned with the preservation and management of animal kingdom, It provides the study of animals and other wildlife and how they interact with their ecosystems. It helps to know the physical characteristics of animals, animal behaviors, and its impact on humans. It provides knowledge wildlife and natural habitats. It provides numerous career opportunities for students. Candidates find jobs as Animal Behaviorist, Conservationist, Wildlife Biologist, Zoo Curator, Wildlife Educator, Zoology faculty, Forensic experts, lab technicians, and Veterinarians.

VISION:

The department promote the discovery and broad knowledge about the Animal biology, Genetics, Physiology, Applied zoology, Animal behavior Molecular biology, Ecology, evolution and their environments. Zoology is the branch of Biology dedicated to all aspects of animal life It provides all round development of the student and make them able to contribute effectively for the welfare of society in this dynamic era.

Our mission is to offer high quality education to students for the welfare of society with social and moral responsibility. It is a subject for those who love animals and those who want to understand how the natural world looks & works. We are committed to educating the students to make them better individuals and develop their personalities towards the nature & they are able to face the challenges of the modern society .It creates awareness of environmental issues towards protecting and conserving the wildlife.

Good opportunities for Zoology students of placements in lectureships, research, forest department, competative exams, animal care taker branch, forensic medicine, animal suppliers’ pest control ect.
They can start small scale industry in poultry forms ,Apiculture, sericulture fisheries pearl culture Agriculture, pisicultureect
