religion, region, and even gender. The various programmes conducted by the college implicitly and
explicitly aim at making our students the best in their own right.


Towards an Egalitarian Society


The College has a deep conviction to create an egalitarian society which is incorporated in the vision of
the college. The college takes all the necessary steps to provide an inclusive environment, specifically as
most of the students belong to the deprived sections of the society. Firstly, the college gives the students
equal opportunities to take part in several activities without any restriction of religion, region or caste.
The college provides for various activities, in which students from different religious, social and cultural
backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Team work is encouraged.

All the teaching and non-teaching staff treat students equally, without any special attention or
discrimination, to one caste or community or religion or region. Counselling sessions are conducted if any student expresses or acts in a discriminatory way.

INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY, 19th Nov, 2024

 

TELANGANA BHASHA DINOSTHAVAM - Sept 9, 2024

On September 9th every year we celebrate the birth anniversary of Kaloji Narayana Rao as Telangana Bhasha Dinotsavam. As a part of the celebrations, essay writing competition and cultural programs were conducted and organised.

 

National Sports Day

National Sports Day was celebrated in the college on 29 Aug, 2024 on the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand. Various events were organized and conducted for over a week and the winners of the events were awarded medals.

Telugu language day - తెలుగు భాషా దినోత్సవం, 29 Aug, 2024

Telugu language day is celebrated to commemorate of the birth anniversary of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy. Importance of Telugu Language was expressed through speeches, dances and songs.

Celebrations in the college has witnessed active participation of students.

International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples - Aug 9, 2024

Intenational Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples is observed on August 9th of every year to raise awareness and protect the rights of people.

As a part of celebrations, an essay writing competition was organized on 08-08-2024.

Three best Essays were given First, Second and, Third places. Certificates were given to the students on 09-08-2024.



On 09-08-2024, a program was organized in which students gave the following presentations:
1. Tribes of India - E. Akshay, B. Sc. BZC III
2. Tribal Warriors - P. Raghuram, B. Com. II, N. Vijay, B.A. II

Songs were rendered by P. Raghuram, B. Com. II, G. Sagar, B. Sc. BZC II 

Gusadi Dance of the Gond Tribe was performed by Kumra Naveen of B. Sc. BZC III

Dance of the Lambadi Tribe was performed by R. Veeresh, D. Premdas, D.Rajesh of B. Sc. II, Prakash, S. Jeevan, Vamshi of B. Com. II, Ch. Vijay Goud, B. Sc. BZC III

The college also takes an additional interest in celebrating various festivals in the college for the students
and ensures a harmonious atmosphere in the college. The students participate in these programmes with
great interest without any discrimination and prejudice. The important events conducted in the college
are Vinayaka Chavithi, Deepavali, Sevalal Jayanthi, Ambedkar Jayanthi, Shivaji Jayanthi, Semi
Christmas and Ramzaan. These festivals create an atmosphere of happiness with equality embedded in it. Further, these programmes ensure a harmonious atmosphere in the college which makes it easier to run the institution.

Creating Awareness on Rights

The college regularly observes several important national and international days like National
Constitution Day, Voters Day, Consumer Rights Day, International Human Rights Day, and as part of
these several awareness programmes are conducted that give the students an insight into the various
rights they are empowered with. The Department of Political Science conducts the Certificate course on
Indian Constitution, empowers the students from different backgrounds, the knowledge of the rights and
duties enshrined in the constitution.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Apart from the rights, it is also important to educate the students about their duties. We have student
Council elected through democratic means. The Student Council takes responsibility of various aspects
in the college and helps in the smooth functioning of the institution. The students participate in various
programmes initiated by the college. They also actively take part in making important decisions and also
implementing them.

Develop Patriotism and Respect National Symbols 

Further, the college also ensures to enhance patriotism among the students and brings in them the spirit
of the Indian freedom movement, national flag, national symbols and the constitution. The faculty of
various departments participate and conduct several competitions to create the awareness among the
students. These include: poster presentation, essay writing, drawing, elocution etc. All these programmes
ultimatly aim at transforming the students into good and informed citizens of India and better human
beings in the world.

77th Independence Day Celebrations

On the ocassion of 77th Independence day, TGTWRDC(M), Kamareddy hoisted the National Flag at our college premises preceeded by NCC parade.
