INCEPTION
The Department of English was established in the year 2017 along with the foundation of the college The Department of English has always endeavored to offer the best in terms of teaching the language of English and literature.The Department has adhered to the Telangana University syllabus (CBCS) from 2017 onwards.
Since its inception in the year 2017, the Department of English has been instilling critical thinking and motivating students to improve their inherent qualities of mind and character, In pursuit of providing a good academic atmosphere, the Department has always encouraged debates, discussions, writings and research. Its academic achievement lies in fostering the creativity and scholarly abilities of its students and preparing them for conquering their dreams
The Department of English reinvents itself continuously to fulfil the requirements of new areas developed in 21st century.
VISION
- Commitment towards the holistic growth of its students with its insistence on paying close attention to the students' mental, emotional and intellectual well-being.
- Fine-tuning its methods and thus constantly revisiting the pedagogic practices for the students to be at home in a discipline that is in a way nurtured by the very lack of disciplinary identity, the emphasis is on creating a space that befits the needs of the students to learn and grow with literary sensibility, language competence ,values and skills required for the development of society.

OBJECTIVES:
Many students are first-generation English learners and many among them do not have any grounding in English studies. The Department’s main objective is to train them and transform them into competent graduates who succeed professionally and serve locally, regionally and globally.
