Choice Based Credit System in TGTWRDCs :
- All the Tribal Welfare colleges will offer admissions based on the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)
- Students can take combination of any (03) subjects ( One Subject From one Option only) under CBCS model from the following (04) options as given below
a) Physical Sciences – CBCS : Maths is compulsory

c) B.A (CBCS) : The student who opts for Maths as one of the subjects must have studied MPC / MEC / MBiPC in Intermediate or Equivalent.

Eligibility Criteria:
1) Students who have passed IPE (including vocational courses) with minimum 40% of marks are eligible to get admission into the Degree first year courses.
2) Students whose parental annual income is less than Rs 1,50,000/- (in case of rural areas) and Rs.2,00,000/- (in case of urban areas) are eligible to get admission into the Degree first year courses.
3) Students who want to get admission into the Degree first year courses have to be qualified in the TGUGCET conducted by the Gurukulam every year.
4) Notification related to TGUGCET will be issued every year during the months of December to February.
5) Qualifying marks in the TGUGCET will be determined by the Gurukulam in accordance with university admission tests norms.
6) TGTWREIS Tribal Welfare Gurukulam reserves the right to determine the roster for the allocation of 40 seats to students as per university and government norms.
7) Finalization of Degree first year admissions will take place through counseling in the centers specified by the Gurukulam. Reservation of Seats:

Note: If there are any unfilled seats in any category of ST, SC / BC-C, BC, Sports / NCC, AEQ / Orphan, PHC according to the seat matrix, they shall be allotted to ST candidates (in TGTWRDCs) as per their option based on the availability of subjects and seats not exceeding the ceiling number.
