Department of physics was Established in 2017, the department had successfully completed five years.The department of physics at the tribal welfare degree college TGTWRDC (B), Karimnagar was established to provide a comprehensive education in physics for students from tribal communities.Its mission to blend traditional knowledge with modern physics principles.The Department of Physics at Degree College has a rich history dating back to its establishment. It was founded with the mission to provide quality education and foster scientific inquiry. Over the years, the department has evolved, adapting to advancements in physics and teaching methodologies. Renowned faculty members have contributed to its growth, and students have excelled in both academic pursuits and research. Today, the department continues to play a vital role in shaping future physicists and contributing to scientific advancements.

Course under graduate level:

The department of physics has programmes offered since 2017 in CBCS pattern in English medium.Intially till 2018 it has single papers in each semesters first to fourth , and two papers for each semester for the fifth and sixth semester.From 2019, the pattern changed as single paper for each semester.currently the department is having one group(mpcs)under all the three years
