Programme outcomes (POs)

 PO1 Chemistry –I: Knowing the in depth knowledge acquired in the disciplines of Chemistry, and Basics in Chemistry.

PO2 Chemistry –II: Identify, formulate and develop solutions in different fields of Chemistry and Concepts of Electrochemistry and Nucleophilic substitution reaction, and different properties of d-Block elements

PO3 Chemistry –III: Analyse the different phases of components, and Knowing the properties Carbonyl Compounds.

PO4 Chemistry –IV: Explain, Select, Analyse the theories of Coordination of compounds, And Properties of Carboxylic Acids.

PO5 Chemistry –V: Analyse the differences of ethers and epoxies, and different fields of Electrochemistry.

PO6 Instrumental and Analytical Methods: Knowing the skill-based knowledge to identify the different spectroscopic methods, and Concepts of chromatography techniques.

PO7 Chemistry –VI: Explain the different types of Drugs and it’s activity.

PO8 Medicinal Chemistry: Identify analyse and equip learners to understand the Drugs and its Discovery and Molecular messengers, and vitamins

Program Specific Outcomes

●Have sound knowledge about fundamental and applications of chemical and scientific theories.

● Understand the fact that every branch of science is related to chemistry.

● Easily asses the properties of all elements discovered.

● Apply appropriate techniques for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemicals in laboratories and in industries.

● Be familiar with different branches of chemistry like analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, bio chemistry and drug chemistry.

● Understand the causes of environmental pollution and can open up with new methods for control.

● Develop analytical skills and problem solving skills requiring applications of chemical principles.

● Acquire the ability to synthesise, separate and characterize compounds using laboratory and instrumental techniques.

● Provide theoretical background and develop practical skills for analysing materials using modern analytical methods and instruments.

● Become professionally skilled for higher studies.

● Gain in depth knowledge that helps himself/herself to qualify for higher academics and competitive exams
