A Breif History of Department  :

Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College was established on --08-2017. The Department of History of TTWRDC, Mahabubabad was started in the year 2018.

Since then, the department has been working to cater the history knowledge of the students in the rural context.Since its inception Department Offered BA Programme with History Economics and Political Science combination.  Department follows the syllabus prescribed by the University and for the enrichment of the students some inputs are included which are useful for competitive exams and local importance.  The Incharge of the department design departmental timetable based on college timetable prepared by time table committee and also time table for bridge course and remedial classes may be prepared according to the need.

• To improve the academic awareness of the students to achieve hundred percent result in all papers and train them for competitive examinations. The department of history also conducting several activities during the academic year.
• The Department caters the needs of students not only by providing quality education but also by mentoring them to choose bright future by opting for post graduation studies and career opportunities. 
• We are providing Academy Books, Reference Books & Practice bits to all Students of History to help them in the examination
