Department of Physics

Introduction: 

The Department of Physics was established in the year of 2017 with the courses at Graduate level, B.Sc. with the combination of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (MPC) and Maths, Physics, Computer Science (MPCs). The Department is also dealing the subjects of the PG course Integrated Chemistry since 2020. 

The department labs are spacious and well equipped with internet and projector facility. Department has a main lab which constitutes of Mechanics, Thermal physics, Modern and Electronic subject lab equipments. We have Optics lab in the ground floor which has a dark room arrangement to carry out optical experiments. 

The department of Physics has produced very good academic results under the efficient teaching and able guidance of the experienced and well qualified faculty members. Many students of our department have cleared competitive examinations like IIT-JAM & CUCET.

• To awaken the young minds and discover their talents both in theory and in practical Physics, through dedication to teach with commitment towards students by using innovative instructional methods like PPT & flipped classes.
• To support the developmental activities of the College and make the Department vibrant.
• To make vital contributions in areas such as faculty, modern labs, and demonstrate a high level of competence in the study of Physics.  
• To develop strategy in the department for continuous Improvement.
