GROUP DISCUSSIONS

       Group discussions in microbiology plays a very crucial role in engaging students in learning the concepts of microbiology.These discussions involve sharing ideas, debating concepts, and solving problems related to microbial life, their interactions, and applications in various fields. It promotes critical thinking in the students and making them understand the role of microbiology in the society  though discussions. 

Students participating in group discussion on topic : Today's Food habits- Impact on human health.

FIELD TRIPS 

     Field trips in microbiology provide students with hands-on experience in real-world microbial environments. These excursions may include visits to research laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, wastewater treatment plants, hospitals, or natural ecosystems such as soil, water bodies, and caves.

         The primary objective is to observe microorganisms in their natural habitats, understand their roles in different environments, and learn about practical microbiological techniques used in industry and research.

Field trips enhance learning by bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring interest in microbiological studies.

We conduct certificate courses regularly in the department.s a short-term program designed to provide fundamental knowledge and practical skills in microbiology. 

outcomes of certificate course for B.SC Microbiology students:
