About Computer Science:

The Department of Computer Science offers two primary courses: B.Sc. (MPCS) and B.Com (Computers), which were introduced in 2017 and 2018, respectively, each with an intake of 40 students. The department was initially headed by Mrs. Bhagya Lakshmi from its inception until July 2019. In August 2019, Mrs. S. J. Sowjanya took over the leadership of the department.

Every year, the department organizes a range of activities, including Bridge Courses, Certificate Courses, Extension Lectures, Student Seminars, and Student Projects, aimed at enhancing the learning experience of students. The department is equipped with a modern computer lab, featuring 32 systems and the latest software aligned with the university syllabus, providing students with the tools and resources they need to excel in their studies.
