Nizamabad - Projects

Botany project- Title- Herbarium of medicinally important plants.

2. Status- Completed.
3. History tells us that our ancestors used plants as medicines. Knowledge of these plants helps us appreciate the gift of nature. BZC final year students collected plants from the college surroundings and used those for preparation of medicinal plants herbarium.

Zoology project- Title- Parasites of cockroach.

1. Members- 15
2. Status- completed.
3. This topic helps the students for M.Sc and Ph.D., How to obtain parasites from cockroaches, staining, and identification of parasites.

Chemistry project- Title-Food adulteration.

1. Members- 5 (BZC Final year)
2. Status- Work completed but submission to be done yet.
3. This topic gives a scope for the student to find the purity of the food which helps them in the near future in many ways. From the identified adulterant in the food, they can work out on the side effects and health hazards caused to humans and can point out the measures taken to prevent them.

Microbiology project- Title- Isolation of microorganisms from wastewater.

1. Members- 5 (MZC Final year)
2. Status- Characterization of microbes to be done yet.
3. Microbes have the ability to thrive under extreme environments. This project gives the students an idea about the various microenvironments and the organisms prevailing in these environments.
