Campus Life - S-mall
Nizamabad - S-Mall
To encourage entrepreneurship and management skills among students, Co-operative store is established at each Gurukulam Institution. Student from Management Stream manages the store and the profit gained is used for further development of S-mall. The secretary TTWREIS has proposed to open an "S-Mall" (cooperative Stores) in all the TTWR Degree Colleges on par with TSWREIS which is more convenient to the students to meet their necessary provisions. Management lecturer should be the mentor-convenor to oversee the functioning of "S-Mall" (Cooperative Stores). In our college, S-Mall was started by BBA-III year students on February 5, 2022 with all necessary material to the students with the per-capita of Rs.4000/- under the supervision of BBA department inorder to develop entrepreneur skills among the students. We have made the arrangements for a S-mall to provide students with the needy items like soaps, pens, charts etc. This would expose the students to entrepreneurial skills and teach them to manage their resources in a more efficient manner.
By maintaining S- mall students can learn business tactics, which may help them in future if they go for start-up.S mall benefits the students in real life for taking up entrepreneurship.S-mall is opened for 2 hours daily, ie .in the morning time 7.30am to 8.30am and in the evening 5.30pm to 6.30 pm. The s-mall maintained by 3 members in a group week wise on rotation bases. Out of 3 members one girl is taking care of stock and issue of stock, one student maintain the cash while selling the products and the third person concentrate on recording outward stock book immediately after selling of a product. S-mall stock includes food items , stationery, soaps etc; and other requirements of students. The stock is purchased from wholesale and retailshops at discount and sold to students at reasonable prices. Students organized stock in a systematic manner so that others students can easily find out the products which are available in s- mall.
