Observation on Mitosis devision in onion root tip          

(during interphase stage). Today have conducted

 lab activity for B.Sc/BZC students we done experiment

 on the Onion root tips and we observe the different

stages of Mitosis.

Seminar(02.07.2022)

Topic: Evalution characters of Thallophytes  to Bryophytes.

Today we the Botany faculty conducted seminar  for the all the 3 year students B.Sc/BZC. Students explain Bryophytes and plane kingdom and different between Thallophytes, Bryophytes gymnosperms and angiosperms.

International Biodiversity (29.12.2022)

Today we have conducted International Biodiversity day for all the students. Student Meenakshmi given PPT Presentation on Biodiversity importance and its conservation.

After completed the Presentation all the students

understanding clearly the values and importance of biodiversity.

Field Trip(Collected Medicinal Plants)

Today we had taken the final year students to field trips along with Faculty. We collected different medicinal plants and explained importance of Medicinal.

Meiosis Division in plants cell (Flower)-07.02.2023

Today we have conducted lab activity for BZC-II year students on plants cell structure of flower for the stages of meiosis. Students have done preparation of slide on Meiosis stages after section cutting students are clearing identify different stages in meiosis in microscope. 

Isolation of DNA from Tomato(29.03.2023)

Today we have conducted lab activity for BZC-III year students topic on isolation of DNA from tomato all the students followed the procedure used by some materials after extracted   DNA from Tomato.

Ecology(08.04.2023)

Today we have conducted lab activity BZC-I students explained about information on xerophytes, hydrophytes and mesophytes of specimens. Students clearly observed difference between on xerophytes, hydrophytes and mesophytes.

 

WORLD EARTH DAY-22.04.2023                                              

Today We have celebrated World Earth Day in seminar hall

 along with students we have given the environment  and

how it is getting polluted by using technologies Gayathri

and Sanju BZC-III year had given PPT presentation on

importance and conversation on Earth. Vaishnavi from MPC

given chart presentation on environment.
