Manu Script:

According to the theme given by Head office every month Manu Script is designed which is an unpublished version of a book. Base on the theme students can, write poems, songs and draw cartoons and pictures which will improve their writing skills, supports critical Thinking.

  • No Saturday Disposal:

When plastic decomposing landfills they may leak pollutants into the soil and Surrounding environment. Hence the plastic wastage in the college and hostel surroundings is collected and stored, sent for recycling. This program is implemented on every Saturday.

  • Science Fairs:

Science fairs provide a mechanism for student with intense interest with science to be paired with mentor to answer a question or task, not from a textbook but found out themselves by conducting a range of experiments .To inculcate Scientific temper in student Science fair program is conducted in every Gurukulam institution as a part of National Science day celebrations .    

Diary Writing:

Every Student of Gurukulam is provided with a Daily every year and encourage them to write their thought which create new ideas , Record their memories and Strength their writing skills. Daily writing allows student to set and achieve their goals allow themselves to self – reflect and also boost their memory.

 CO-Operative Store(S – Mall) :

To encourage entrepreneurship and management skills among students ,Co-Operative store is established at each Gurukulam Institution. Student from Commerce Stream manages the store and the profit gained is used for further development of S-mall.The secretary TTWREIS has proposed to open an "S-Mall" (cooperative Stores) in att the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College, for Women, Shadnagar, on par with TSWREIS which is more convenient to the students to meet their necessary provisions. 

 . The "S-Mall" (Cooperative Stores) will be run by the group of students with a motto that they should learn the activities invotved in running the business 

 Purchase and sales records should be maintained thoroughly. . Commerce lecturer should be the mentor - convenor to oversee the functioning of "S-Mall" (Cooperative Stores).

IMPACT Program:

IMPACT is a parent- Teacher interface in which parents discuss their children’s strengths and weakness. It allows the parents to know their children’s progress and to plan for their future. Teachers and principal motivate the students to report immediately after holidays as this program is conducted before vacation . This program has gained a lot of response from students.           

Mediatation and Wellness Program:                                    

Heartfulness institute of Shri Rama Chandra mission organized an international conference on "Meditation and Wellness"  at International Heartfulness centre, Kanha Shanti Vanam. A total of 100 students attended the conference for 3 days and where they learnt about the practices that take us deeper into the heartful way of life, like relaxation, medication, and connecting with the higher self through prayer.

Special Days:

To count on education programs, as a part of co-curricular activities special days like National science day, NSS day, Aadivasi day, Teachers day, UNO day, constitution day, never give up day  , Pie Day and International Women's Day etc., are observed every year at every gurukulam institution which brings awareness on significance of the days celebrated.

MICROBIOLOGY STUDENTS PROJECT EXHIBITION AT TTWRDC(W)SHADNAGAR

Theme: "Traditional Food Practices and Realm of Gut Microbiota"

Students of Microbology Department have organised  an exhibition on Traditional food Practices and their association with healthy probiotic microorganisms emphsizing the importance of these foods in our daily life. As part of this programme 15 different exhibitis were demondtrated and explained by 43 Microbiology students of MZC-II and MZC-I(2021-2022) to the entire college students and staff. conducted Dr.Srijana Mukkala Dept.of Microbiology.

FRESHERS PARTY-2024:

A Freshers party was conducted to welcome the First year students. The final and second year students conducted a number of games and competitions to entertain and build a good relation with the juniors. It was a day filled with fun events, tasty food, snacks and ended with the awarding of Miss Fresher for the year 2024.

STAFF MEETING WITH Regional Coordinator SUDHAKAR SIR:

RC sir, Mr. K. Sudhakar visited our institution to inspect the surroundings and the classes. Sir interacted with the students and faculties and discussed in detail about the action plan for the upcoming sem exams and also preparedness for the NAAC peer team visit. Sir interacted with the students and encouraged them to go for higher education.

Gratitude Rally by the TGTWRD & PG C(W) Shadnagar:

All the students and staff of TGTWRD & PG (C) women, Shadnagar expressed gratitude by doing a rally with pluck cards to our beloved Chief minister for his initiative to increase of diet charges and cosmetics.

Foundational Genomics Workshop : Bridging Bench Work to Bioinformatics- Two day Hands-on training at University of Hyderabad.

As a part of hands-on training in microbiological techniques, the final year students of MZC and BZC groups were taken to the School of Life Sciences at University of Hyderabad. The students visited various labs in the school and learnt about- Culturing Microorganisms by streakplate technique, Inoculation into nutrient media, Isolation of Genomic DNA. The students got an opportunity to work independently in the above techniques. They also visited the green house where they observed how genetically modified plants are grown and maintained. The PhD scholars Ms. Anuradha Singh, Ms. P. Vidya Vardini, Mr. Dheeraj, and Mr. Viraj explained the students about handling various instruments and how they work in great detail. It was a wonderful experience to the students to visit research labs and interact with PhD scholars. They also got to interact with Professors and requested them to provide with summer internships.
