Formation of IQAC:

As per the instructions of secretary of TTWREIS Gurukulam RC.NO:C/447010/RDC/2022. Dated:05.08.2022

IQAC cell is established at Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College, for Women, Shadnagar,, on 08.08.2022.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring and enhancing the quality of education and overall functioning of the institution . 

Establishment:
The establishment of an IQAC cell on 08/08/2022  to uphold and improve the quality standards of education and administrative processes. It's often set up in compliance with accreditation agencies' guidelines, such as the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in India, or as part of an institution's commitment to continuous improvement.

Role:

Quality Assurance: The primary role of the IQAC is to develop and implement quality benchmarks in various academic and administrative activities. This involves setting standards for curriculum development, teaching methodologies, student assessment, infrastructure maintenance, and support services.

Monitoring and Evaluation: The IQAC regularly monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of academic programs, teaching-learning processes, and support services through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and data analysis. This ensures that the college meets its stated objectives and continuously improves its performance.

Coordination: It acts as a coordinating body between different departments and stakeholders within the college, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve common quality goals. This includes organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions to disseminate best practices and foster a culture of quality consciousness.

Documentation and Reporting: The IQAC maintains comprehensive records of academic and administrative activities, including minutes of meetings, feedback reports, and quality enhancement initiatives. It prepares annual quality assurance reports and submits them to relevant authorities as per requirements.

Quality Enhancement: Beyond mere compliance with standards, the IQAC spearheads initiatives for continuous quality enhancement. This could involve curriculum revision, faculty development programs, student support initiatives, and the integration of technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Objectives:

To Ensure Quality Culture: The IQAC aims to promote a culture of quality consciousness among faculty, staff, and students by fostering a sense of responsibility towards maintaining and enhancing standards of excellence in all aspects of college life.

To Facilitate Internal and External Reviews: It facilitates internal reviews through self-assessment exercises and external reviews through participation in accreditation processes. This helps identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, leading to strategic planning and resource allocation.

To Enhance Teaching-Learning Processes: One of the key objectives is to enhance the effectiveness of teaching-learning processes by adopting innovative pedagogies, integrating technology, and providing professional development opportunities for faculty members.

To Ensure Stakeholder Satisfaction: The IQAC endeavors to meet the expectations and needs of various stakeholders, including students, parents, employers, and the community at large, by ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and support services.

To Promote Research and Innovation: It encourages research and innovation among faculty and students, thereby contributing to knowledge creation and societal development. This involves providing research grants, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and fostering a conducive research environment.

In conclusion, the IQAC  serves as a driving force for quality enhancement, ensuring that the institution remains responsive to the evolving needs of its stakeholders while upholding its commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.
