Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College, for Women, Shadnagar, is extremely happy to extend a warm welcome to the team of Researchers headed by a Great Educationalist and champion of Marginalized women in the society. At the outset, we are extremely proud to share that we have 22 Tribal Wellfare Residential Degree Colleges out of which 15 are Women Institutions and 7 are  Men institutions.  Our College Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College, for Women, Shadnagar  is one among 15 Women institutions which is located at Shanagar. Our Institution is established in the year 2017 under KG to PG free education policy by Govt.of Telangana with lot of expectation for the transformation of the institutions into the Center of excellene in terms of not only providing quality education but also imbibing terms of values to inmates. Dr. Seetha Laxmi, IAS, currently serves as the Secretary of TTWREIS (Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) and TSWREIS (Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society).  

Thanks to KG to PG free Education policy of the Govt of Telangana. This experiment has been handed over by the honorable Chief Minister                            , by Govt of Telangana. Sole reason, for the establishment of all these women Degree Colleges just to postpone their marriages, to empower themselves into independent women. Reckoning all the set goals and the secretary had created a new innovative Time-Table. Various clubs are established such as Commerce Club, Entrepreneur Club, dance Club, Creative Club, Community Outreach Club etc. to impart different life skills to the students. Discipline and Ethics serve as guiding principles for all stakeholders of the college, embodying values such as Respect, Integrity, Honesty, Service, Empathy, and Open-mindedness.

We believe in teaching more than just lessons in books. Our school is known for providing a well-rounded education that focuses on values and practical skills. We make sure students learn the importance of being disciplined, managing their time well, and being on time. Alongside regular classes, we organize talks, programs, and counseling sessions to help students become more confident and emotionally intelligent. Our goal is to prepare students not just academically, but also to be responsible and capable individuals ready to face the world.

The college offers Six Under Graduate Programmes in Commerce, Science, Mathematics, Computer Scienceand One 5 yrs Post Graduate Programme in Chemistry where students from surrounding schools and colleges, various districts, neighboring states seek admission.
