VISION

The History Department aims to make the students aware of the past and its legacies through teaching, research and extension activities in Indian history in the context of world history. We believe that only a critical understanding of the past will enable the students to understand the present and help them look towards the future. The use of various pedagogical methods, the department aimed to enhance students subject-specific knowledge and also strives for developing critical thinking among stakeholders .

MISSION

The Mission of the History department is to educate students about history and develop their critical thinking skills. History departments also help students prepare for careers in education, government, and other fields.
