DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY PROFILE
The Department of Botany was established in the academic year 2017-2018 with establishment of the college. It is Offering B.Sc (BZC). The intake of students to the course is 40 students.This Department was started with 13 students in B.Sc (BZC) Course in the first year i.e., 2017-18. First batch passed out with 95% Pass Percentage and Majority of the students join in higher education with the consequetive 100% Result.

- Teaching through visual aids like live and preserved specimens, models, charts etc.

Botany is essential for the creation of biofuels such as biomass & methane gas, which can be used to replace fossil fuels. It helps farmers to increase crop yield. The Study of Plant is important for environmental protection. The department is highly motivated and excited to share both their knowledge and passion in the field of Botany. Guest lectures are arranged to motivate the students in to the exciting field of Botany and to develop the concept-based learning.

VISSON OF THE DEPARTMENT
Attempt is to prepare students for lifelong learning by drawing attention to the vast world of knowledge of plants and introducing to the methodology of systematic academic enquiry.
With this in mind, we aim to provide a firm foundation in every aspect of Botany and to explain a broad spectrum of modern trends in Botany.
