DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY
The Department of Chemistry of Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential College (G), Janagaon, was established in 2017 with 13 students in B.Sc (BZC) Course in the first year. At present our department offeres chemistry courses for BZC,MZC,MPC groups. This department always aspires to academic excellence. We motivate and help the students to secure good number of seats in institutes of higher learning, particularly in Central Institutes of Higher Learning like IITs, NITs and Central Universities.
Vision :
Our vision is to provide students with a solid foundation in the core principles of chemistry for academic excellence, innovative research, community engagement and preparing students for successful careers in chemistry and related fields to serve society.
Mission :
- Our Mission is to mentor undergraduate students and disseminate current scientific knowledge.
- To inculcate scientific temperament among the students.
- To offer a comprehensive curriculum that integrates theoretical foundations, experimental techniques, and modern applications.
- To develop skills involved in handling the laboratory equipment.
- To foster connections with other departments and disciplines to promote a holistic understanding of chemistry's role in addressing global challenges.
- To provide guidance, resources, and networking opportunities to help students achieve their career aspirations and become leaders in their chosen fields.
OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT
- To train B.Sc. students in the theoretical and practical skills required for employment in chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
- To impart fundamental and contemporary principles of chemistry into the students.
