Bridge Course in Mathematics-2024
Objectives:
The main objective of the Bridge Course is to bridge the gap between subjects studied at school level and subjects they would be studying in graduation. A Bridge course is conducted every year before the commencement of the first semester classes for all the groups such as B. Sc, B. Com, B.A to provide the basic knowledge in the concepts of mathematics.
Course Outcome:
After successful completion of the course, the learner shall be confident and enhanced with Arithmetic, Quantitative aptitude (numerical ability), catering to the needs of candidates who intend to appear for all the competitive examinations to achieve admissions into different Professional courses. Students are trained with different data analysis techniques.

- Sequence of mathematical operations — BODMAS
- Basic Operations on fractions
- Solving simultaneous Linear equations
- Some standard functions and identities
- Basics of Co-ordinate Geometry- Lines
- Introduction to matrices and their basic operations
- Algebra of indices (Exponents)
