Field Visit
A Visit to Aero space industry on 27th August 2022, we went for field trip to Raghu Vamshi Aero Space Industry at Hardware park near airport, as part of subject activity. Economics students observed various cells where various small assembling parts are manufactured in different machines. Students actively interacted with the employees of the industry and analysed the working conditions, initial Investment of the firm and input and output ratio of firm. Students submitted detailed report on their visit and gained knowledge about various operation of production.
World Population Day
Date: 11th July,2022
BA & IMSc students of Economics as a part of their subject has observe World Population day july 11th 2022, Students prepared charts of slogans for control population. Around 15 students visited Mankhal village by taking rally and recited slogans, addressed village women and brought awareness about optimum population and its uses. Students along with the economics faculty prepared questionnaire and surveyed the information from various household, consolidated and analysed the data.
Guest lecture-on Financial Literacy(03.12.2022)
Department invited Prof. Seema Gosh(Bhavan’s Degree College Hyd-HOD in Economics).She delivered lecture on Financial Literacy BA/B.Com/IMSc students attended. She explained the importance of Financial Literacy and various ways to save finances like FD,RD, Mutual Funds & shares. She explain through PPT’s, in queries session students interacted with madam & clarified their doubts. We rendered vote of thanks at the end, given memento.
National Nutrition Day-Sep.09.2022
BA-I year students of economics around 15 students visited Primary Zilla Parishath school at Mankhal, they prepared models and charts for illustrating Nutritious food and its importance .They brought awareness among primary school children About various benefits of having nutritious food which propel Their height and growth of that age children, under the guidance of economics faculty.
Discussion on Noble Prize Winners in Economics
A video was displayed BA-I, II and III about noble prize winners in economics. This year laureates in Economics are Ben Bernanke, Douglas diamond and Philip Dybvig have significantly improved our understanding role of banks in the economy, particularly during financial crises. Modern banking research clarify the need of banks, how to make banks less vulnerable in crises and how banks collapses leading to financial crises. Their analysis have been grate practical importance in regulating financial markets and dealing with financial crises. By discussion on this student gained knowledge about banks and their work.
