Campus Life - Grievance Redressal System
Grievances and Redressal
The grievance redressal policy was established at the college to emphasize transparency, fairness, and prompt resolution of concerns raised by students, faculty, and staff.A clear definition of grievances is provided, encompassing academic, administrative, or personal issues that impact the well-being and experience of individuals within the college community.
A dedicated Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) comprises representatives from different departments, faculty members, administrative staff, and a student representative. The committee is responsible for overseeing the grievance redressal process.A commitment to timely resolution is established, outlining specific timelines for each stage of the grievance redressal process. Efforts are made to resolve grievances at the earliest stage possible. The college maintains records of all grievances, resolutions, and actions taken.

Written Grievance Procedure through Suggestion Box:
A standardized written grievance procedure outlines the steps to be followed when submitting a formal grievance. Students, staff, and anyone can bring their grievances through the suggestion box.
This procedure includes details on documentation, evidence submission, and the stages of review. Upon receipt of a formal grievance, the committee conducts a thorough investigation, gathering facts and perspectives from all parties involved. The objective is to establish a clear understanding of the situation before proposing a resolution. An appeals process is outlined for individuals dissatisfied with the initial resolution. Appeals are reviewed by a higher-level authority, ensuring an impartial re-evaluation of the grievance. The college actively communicates its grievance redressal policies to the students through official channels, including the college website, orientation sessions, and informational materials.
Oral grievances procedure:
An oral grievances redressal system involves individuals reporting their concerns verbally to the relevant authorities or designated personnel, who then address and resolve the reported issues through direct communication channels. These Grievances would be taken to the authority for further action without delay.
