Institution Innovation Council (IIC)
The Institution Innovation Council at Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Devarakonda, is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members. At the institution level, the IIC is committed to achieving the following objectives:
1. Promoting Innovation Culture: Cultivating an environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and risk-taking, fostering innovation at every level of the institution.
2. Facilitating Idea Generation: Providing platforms and resources to support students and faculty in generating innovative ideas across various disciplines and domains.
3. Encouraging Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange among students and faculty from diverse academic backgrounds to address complex challenges through interdisciplinary innovation.
4. Supporting Entrepreneurial Ventures: Offering guidance, mentorship, and incubation support to aspiring student entrepreneurs, facilitating the development and commercialization of innovative solutions.
5. Organizing Innovation Workshops and Events: Conducting workshops, seminars, hackathons, and innovation challenges to enhance the innovation capabilities of students and faculty members.
6. Fostering Industry-Academia Partnerships: Collaborating with industry partners, startups, and research institutions to facilitate technology transfer, industry-sponsored projects, and joint innovation initiatives.
7. Promoting Intellectual Property (IP) Rights Awareness: Educating students and faculty members about the importance of intellectual property rights (IPR) and supporting them in securing patents and copyrights for their innovative creations.
8. Measuring and Recognizing Innovation Excellence: Establishing metrics and frameworks to assess and recognize innovation excellence among students and faculty members, incentivizing continuous improvement and excellence in innovation.
9. Creating Innovation Ecosystem:Building a robust innovation ecosystem within the institution that connects academia, industry, government, and the wider community, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation-driven growth and development.
