ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

   The department of Microbiology has been started in 2017 with B.SC (MB.Z.C) and upgraded with the introduction of CBCS system in the year 2022, with B.SC (MB.C.CS). The Department of microbiology has an excellent infrastructure which provides the students with the ambience necessary for them to understand and practice advanced techniques in microbiology. The department aims to stimulate an interest in the social and economic implications of Microbiology in society.

VISION:

To be an excellent resource for providing outstanding knowledge for B.SC Microbiology undergraduates and to develop scientific aptitude, enhancing inter disciplinary education making students competent in choosing their career.

MISSION:

•  To promote technically sound education in microbiology focused for gaining proficiency in the subject to withstand the upcoming global challenges to ignite the brains of students in enhancing basic to advanced knowledge in Microbiology to meet global challenges.
• To enhance interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary knowledge and inspire the women to choose their career.
• To encourage women to start small scale industries to become entrepreneurs.
