About the Department

The Department of physics was established in the year 2017.

It extending and rendering countless academic support to the downtrodden rural students in Nalgonda district to realize their dream of getting quality education in Physics.

The department started with B.Sc with the combination of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.

In the year 2022, the department was upgraded with CBCS courses.

VISION

• To provide quality learning environment in physics.
• To prepare the students to be able for higher education and for other competitive examinations.

 

MISSION

• To inculcate scientific temperament in students both in theory and in practical.
• To explore the functional and realistic aspects of the physics

Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and challenges

Strength

1. Experienced and well qualified staff.

2. Computer with Internet Facility.

3.  Departmental library with ample number of reference books.

4. Bridge course and remedial coaching facility

Weaknesses

1. Separate dark-room, semi-dark room facility essential.

2. Lab facilities in laboratory are inadequate   .

3. Computer facility should be enhanced.

 

Unique Selling Point

Physics is the science that attempts to describe how nature works using the language of Mathematics.The department of Physics is conducting General Science classes for competitive exams.
