Research Development Cell Policy

The Research Development Cell (RDC) at TTWRDC W Devarakonda is established to cultivate a thriving research environment, foster innovation, and support the scholarly endeavors of faculty and students. This policy outlines the specific objectives, structure, and responsibilities of the RDC to enhance the research culture within the institution.

 Objectives:

The RDC at TTWRDC W Devarakonda aims to:

  • Encourage a research-centric mind-set among faculty and students.
  • Elevate the quality and impact of research outcomes.
  • Facilitate collaborative and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support for securing external research funding.

Structure of the RDC:

The RDC will comprise representatives from various departments and students. The composition will be periodically reviewed to ensure diversity and effiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organize workshops, training programs, and seminars tailored to the academic and research needs of  the college,  enhancing research skills, methodology, and ethical conduct.
  • The RDC will actively pursue external research funding opportunities to support the diverse research projects undertaken by faculty and students. Transparent processes for fund allocation will be established, promoting equitable access.
  • Establish guidelines for the identification, protection, and ethical management of intellectual property resulting from research activities, ensuring fair practices and appropriate recognition.
  • Encourage and support researchers in publishing their findings in reputable journals, presenting at conferences, and engaging in knowledge dissemination activities that align with the educational mission of the institution.
  • Facilitate and promote collaboration between researchers and industry partners to enhance technology transfer, encourage innovation, and contribute to the practical application of research outcomes in alignment with the institution’s mission.
