ABOUT DEPARTMENT
The Department of Economics established in this college in 2018 with combination B.A. with Economics. History and Political Science. Later, in 2022 the department extended with CBCS in combination with Computer application and Mathematics.In accordance with the vision and mission of the college the Department has set its own vision and missions
VISION:
“To spread the knowledge of Economics to young women through teaching”
MISSION:
To make the students to gain analytical skills in various contemporary economic problems.
To produce socially responsible students with good knowledge in welfare economics.
To make students competitive in Economics. To develop research attitude among the students.
To bring up the innate talent through effective dissemination of knowledge in Economics.

STRENGTH:
- Enabling departmental culture for students learning.
- Bridge Courses/ Seminars/ Webinars/ Workshops/ Personality development courses and Awareness Programmes are conducted for deeper conceptual knowledge.
WEAKNESS:
- No separate Departmental infrastructure.
- Less student pursuing higher education.

- Providing quality education to society of economic backward classes.
- To create awareness about various social and economic problems among the students and the society.
- To prepare students for admission in various courses and guidance to the competitive exam.
