Welcome to
Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGTWREIS) has been dedicatedly working under the Tribal Welfare Department to provide quality education to the poorest among the Scheduled Tribes for over 35 years. With 180 institutions, including degree colleges, serving over 50,000 students, the society aims to uplift marginalized communities through education. The government's strong belief in education as a transformative tool is evident in its establishment of 22 Tribal Welfare Residential Degree Colleges in 2017, with a focus on empowering both men and women.
In line with this commitment, innovative initiatives have been implemented to ensure comprehensive development. These include provisions such as computer labs, CCTV for girls' institutions, sports facilities, medical equipment, and English language programs. The society has also introduced projects like the "Mirror Project" to enhance English communication skills and foster confidence among students. Furthermore, administrative systems like the Financial Accounting System (FAS) and Student Academic Monitoring System (SAMS) have been implemented to ensure efficient management and accountability.
Moreover, holistic support is provided to students through initiatives like the distribution of uniforms, bedding materials, and notebooks, as well as engagement programs for parents and communities. The establishment of College Councils and programs like the Impact and QUEST initiatives reflect a holistic approach to education, aiming to address not only academic but also social and health-related needs. With round-the-clock health monitoring through PANACEA Health Services, the society ensures the overall well-being of its students, underscoring its commitment to nurturing a new generation of empowered individuals who can lead Telangana and beyond in the 21st century.
