       Telanagana tribal welfare residential degree college for women, Rajanna Siricilla, Since it was founded in 2017, the Career Guidance Cell has been operational from 2019 onwards. It helps students with all facets of higher education and career development by providing career assistance and counseling. Career Guidance Cell further assists every student in achieving their objectives by offering them individualized guidance.

The Career Guidance cell at TTWRDC for Women is dedicated to achieving the objectives of providing outcome-based education (OBE) and guiding students towards their career growth. Upon completion of their undergraduate program, students are presented with three possible outcomes: further education, employment, or entrepreneurship.

  1. Further Education: The CGC provides information about higher education opportunities, helps students choose the right courses and universities, and guides them through the application process.
  2. Employment: The CGC keeps students updated about job opportunities, industry trends, and recruitment notifications. It also helps students in preparing for interviews, writing resumes, and developing essential skills for the workplace.
  3. Entrepreneurship: For students interested in starting their own business, the CGC provides guidance on business planning, funding options, and market research.

 

COMMITTEE MEMBERS OF CGC IN THE COLLEGE:

CGC is Consists of a Coordinator and faculty members, the CG Cell of the college efficiently manages all activities and events. The team is dedicated to providing quality advice to students and keeping them updated about the latest employment/recruitment notifications and entrance exam announcements.

Vision: The Career Guidance Cell aims to empower individuals by providing them with guidance, resources, and support in making informed decisions about their career paths. 

Mission: The goal is to guide students towards their desired outcomes through lectures, awareness programs, and information on higher studies, competitive exams, and opportunities in both private and public sector organizations.

The roles and responsibilities of the CGC cell include:

  • Assisting students with career planning and providing information to help them align their aspirations and interests.
  • Guiding students for competitive exams post UG and providing details on entrance exams such as ICET/GATE/CAT/CPGET/CUET etc.
  • Conducting awareness programs on career paths and professional opportunities in both private and public sector organizations.
  • Offering information on further studies/programs, financial aid, academic planning guidance for entrance exams, and competitive examinations.
  • Providing career counseling and guidance through seminars conducted by industry experts.
  • Organizing programs to highlight the requirements for various recruitment processes, enabling students to prepare in advance for selection.
  • Holding motivational programs periodically focusing on career growth and decision-making.
  • Sharing information on the necessary skill set for chosen careers/professions.

Career Guidance Cell has following facilities for proper functioning to carry out its day to day roles and responsibilities. 

  • Computer systems with internet connection, 
  • Books on entrance exams like GATE, GRE, TOEFL CAT, GMAT BANKING BOOKS etc,
  • Books on competitive examinations like RRB NTPC, IES, SSC and CSE etc, 
  • Display board to disseminate information about various stages and steps in career/ professional life 
  • Notice board to pinup notifications, employment news.
  • The student mentor appointed by department will also facilitate career counseling of the student.                                                                                                    

Services provided by CGC Cell: 

  • Helping student to fill up applications for higher studies, acquiring Letter of Recommendation and necessary documentation for admission in higher education. 
  • Conduct mock test practice tests for the entrance/competitive exams such as CAT, GRE, GMAT, GATE etc., 
  • Giving latest job notifications in public and private sector.
  • Helping students in applying through online for GATE,GRE,TOEFL and IELTS.
  • Employment news.
  • Inviting Entrepreneurs and encouraging student to choose Entrepreneurship as Career.
