World Mosquito Day was celebrated By the Department of Microbiology TTWRDC Women Rajanna siricilla on20 th Augus2023. As apart of academic activity MBZC lll year students visited rural areal to spread awareness about How the flies spreading Diseases By the stagnant water. In this awareness programme Students communicated with the people of thangallpelli.This programme was successfully completed with the active participation of students
The Importance of World Mosquito Day

VIRUS RANGOLI COMPETITION
As a part of student activity, Department of microbiology took intiation to know the creative skills of students . TTWRDC( W), Siricilla conducted Virus RANGOLI.(full of colours) . In this program college principal K.Rajani,vice principal M.Sudha Sindhu, faculty members and students participated. In this competition. MBZC I St year students got first prize. By this doing activity students got the knowledge about the structure of different types of virus in their colours. In this programme students were actively participated
World ozone day. 16th sep 2023
World ozone day was celebrated on 16th September 2023 in TTWRDC WOMEN DEGREE COLLEGE of RAJANNA SIRICILLA with the collaboration of life sciences .In this program students gave a rally to spreadawareness about ozone depletion and how It is impact human health. In this programme life science students, HOD of Life sciences Principal K.Rajani madam Garu, Vice principal Sudha sindhu Madam Garu and faculty of Microbiology were participated.

BLOOD GROUPING
As a part of academic activity Department of microbiology TTWRDC (women) Rajanna siricilla Organised camp for NCC students on 12th October 2023 to know their Blood Group. In this camp most of the students and NCC students were tested by the Microbiology lll yr students.By This camp students got awareness about their Blood group and also got vocational skills.This was successfully completed with the help of IQAC Coordinator.
In this programme our college principal Madam K.Rajani Madam.Vice principal Sudha sindhu and faculty members were participated.
MOBILE SCIENCE EXHIBITION (GENE HEALTH CONNECT)
13th October 2023
In association with CCMB ( center for cellular and molecular biology)
Mobile Science Exhibition is an attempt of NCSM to communicate science in rural areas. These buses target the population which is unable to visit any of the science centre of NCSM. First MSE was launched by Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata which is a centre under NCSM in the year 1965. CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) has developed a Mobile Science Exhibition (MSE) on Genetic Diseases Gene-Health Connect’ in collaboration with the National Council of Science Museums. The bus (with 20 exhibits) will go around colleges The exhibition will discuss how genes function to determine our characteristics, and how genetic diseases spread and can be prevented as well as managed.
OBJECTIVES :
As a part of academic activity Department of microbiology invited Mobile science exhibition which is organised by CCMB Hyderabad on 13 th and it continued 14th October 2023.For this occasion we invited District Medical Health officer Dr.Suman Mohan Rao as a chief guest to inaugurate Mobile science exhibition. In this programmeirrespective of departments each and every student shown great enthusiasm to learn things exbited by them. For this 20 life science background students volunteered as mentor to explain audio visual aids.

WORLD CANCER DAY
07 NOVEMBER 2023
World cancer day was celebrated on 7 th November in TTWRDC (Women) Rajanna siricilla. This programme were conducted for giving idea about the cancer disease and how can we identify that early stage symptoms . For this students perfomed activity like skit . Poster presentation and speech. In this programme our college principal K.Rajani Madam, Vicep principal Sudha sindhu and faculty participated Skit performed by the life science 1st yr& 2 nd yr students. For this programme irrespective of departments total students were participated.
