About Department:

                                          Telugu is taught as the second language in the first year, second year and third year under graduate programmes. The Department of Telugu was established in 2017 with the following vision and mission. The department elicits the melody and deliciousness of the Telugu language with the expert faculty.

                                            The department of TELUGU has established in the college during 2017-18.   BSC (MPCS),BSC (MZC),B Com (CA) courses were offered by the college earlier,In the year 2023 Bucket system has introduced with Life sciences,physical sciences and Bachelor of Arts stream,in all these courses TELUGU is introduced as second language.All the UG programmes have Telugu a--s second language subjects. The motto behind is to improve the language skills like Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing of all students in the class. The second language is generally the mother tongue i.e. Telugu. This subject promoted culture, customs, moral and literary values in the students.

VISION:

• Department of Telugu aims at the development of communicative skills, employability skills and also the development of good character, moral values and social responsibility among the students.
• To develop a sense of literary aesthetic appreciation in Telugu.
• To build lifeskills through value based education and service oriented programmes.

MISSION:

• Implementing student centric methods like seminars, workshops, group discussions, assignments, study projects and quiz etc we enable the students to improve communicative skills and employability skills.
• By offering different classics from ancient and modern literature, we enable the students to develop good character and moral values.
• By adding different essays and short stories which reflect socio, economic and political issues, we enable the students to understand literature reflects society and society influences literature as well.

VALUE ADDED CERTIFICATE COURSE:

Value added certificate course introduced from the Academic year 2019-20.The course name was నైతిక విలువల పెంపుదలలో ఇతిహాసాల పాత్ర(role of Ithihasa in building Moral Values and Ethics).it is 3months course and 2batches were conducted every Academic year
