ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The department of political science was established in this college with BA HEP Course in the year 2018 with a view to provide quality political science education to the students Of this region. Eminent and well experienced faculty served at this department. To satisfy the Huge demand from the students BA HEP(Computer Applications) Was also introduced in the Year 2022. Many eminent scholars with required knowledge and skills, were  produced from this Department.

  1. Comparative political system

Objective:

Comparative politics is the systematic study and comparison of the diverse political systems in the world. It is comparative in searching to explain why different political systems have similarities or differences and how developmental changes came to be between them.

Course outcome:

 By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • To make students understand the basic concepts in comparative politics, To make students classify the different political systems and historical context of modern governments,
  • To enable students to have a comparative analysis of countries related to their political institutions and behaviour.

 

  1. citizenship and the rule of law

Objective:

          The rule of law is fundamental to international peace and security and political stability; to achieve economic and social progress and development; and to protect people's rights and fundamental freedoms.

Course outcome:

 By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • The rule of law means that all laws apply equally to all citizens of the country and no one is above the law.
  • Every citizen of the country has a right to approach the courts in case laws are violated. Similarly, every citizen can also be punished for violating laws.
