The Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) is a flagship initiative by the Government of Telangana designed to establish synergy among government institutions, industries, and academia. TASK’s primary objective is to enhance the employability of youth by offering quality skill development programs and 21st-century learning opportunities to bridge the gap between education and industry needs.
College’s Commitment to TASK:
The Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Girls (TGTWRDC-G) has officially registered with TASK to support its students with opportunities to acquire 21st-century skills and skill enhancement training. This initiative allows the students to gain essential learning programs that improve their employability and skill sets.
The registration fee for students is generously supported by Gurukulam, ensuring that students can access these opportunities without financial barriers.
Student Participation and Impact:
- In the academic year 2023-24: A total of 50 students from TGTWRDC(G) registered with TASK and actively participated in various skill development programs.
- In the academic year 2024-25: A total of 45 students have registered and benefitted from numerous programs facilitated by TASK.

Through their participation in the TASK initiative, students have gained access to a variety of skill-building programs, including:
- GST Training: Practical insights and knowledge about the Goods and Services Tax to understand financial literacy.
- 21st Century Skills: Training focused on critical thinking, adaptability, communication, and problem-solving.
- Soft Skills Development: Programs emphasizing interpersonal skills, teamwork, leadership, and emotional intelligence.
