CO4:Understand the classification of organic compounds like carbohydrates.

CO5:Importance of vitamins to human body and their deficiency syndrome.

SEMESTER-II MICROBIAL PHYSIOLOGY AND GENETICS

CO1:Understand the basic nutritional requirements of bacteria.

SEMESTER-III MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY

CO1:Summarize the different types of diseases and their causative organisms of this particular disease.

CO2:Understand the theory that (NORMAL MICROBIAL FLORA OF HUMAN BODY).

CO3:Understand the classification & structure of antibodies and antigens and their interaction.

CO4:Describe and explain the reasons ,classes and development of allergy in humans .

CO5:Understand various mechanism by which antibiotics destroy antigen.

CO6:Description about human body’s resistence against diseases.

CO7:Explain about various food borne ,water borne and air borne diseases.

SEMESTER-IV MOLECULAR BIOLOGY AND MICROBIAL GENETICS

CO1:Understand and describe various concepts related to genes and its regulations.

CO2:Aware of genetransfer among microbes by particular named process by listening classes.

CO3:Knowledge about gene mutations and their effect on cell.

CO4:Understand and explains the principles , methodology and applications of spectrophotometer and chromatography techniques ,centrifugation etc…..

CO5:Able to summarize  how Cdna libraries can be produced and used for the researches .

CO6:Structure and replications of DNA &RNA and their work as genetic  material.

SEMESTER-V INDUSTRIAL AND FOOD MICROBIOLOGY

 

CO1:Understand and describe the scope of industrial microbiology.

CO2:Understand how to operate various fermenters in industries.

CO3:Explain the process of commercial production of ethanol’s ,pencillin&citric acid productions.

CO4:Identifying the strategies to minimize the risk of food poisoning

CO5:Learning about genera of microorganisms associated with food and their characteristics .

CO6:Learning about important pathogens and their role in spoilage of food and conditions which under they will grow.

CO7:Some areas interest include :food poisoning, food preservation, food legislation.

SEMESTER-VI ENVIRONMENTAL MICROBIOLOGY

CO1:Identify the main concept of microbial ecology.

CO2:Understand the positive and negative roles of microorganisms in environment .

CO3:Able to differentiate between bioremediation and biodegradation.

CO4:Can list out microorganisms in air ,water, soil, extreme  environment and man-made environment ,its role and activities.

CO5:Explain the impacts of environmental factors on microbial  activities.

CO6:Write microorganisms used in remediation technologies.
