Student Skill Enhancement and Capacity building Activities:
Various types of presentation skills are encouraged in the college for improving the verbal skills, visual skills, nonverbal skills, and technological skills. These encompass various techniques and strategies that contribute to the delivery and impact of presentations. Diiferent methods used here are :

Student Seminars
A student seminar is a small, discussion-based course where students learn about a particular subject by reading, completing assignments, and discussing topics with their peers. Seminars are often based on the idea that knowledge is gained through peer-to-peer dialogue. The department of CHEMISTRY conducting the Seminars regularly to improve the Communications skills of students.
Power Point Presentation
A power point presentation is a great way to present information. It is easy to use, and it helps students learn and express in a effective way.The department of CHEMISTRY conducts the power point presentations to improve the representation skills of students.
Group Discussion
A group discussion (GD) is a structured conversation where a group of people exchange ideas and perspectives on a topic. Students exchange their views and ideas on their respective subject topics which enhance in understanding to a large extent.
Poster Presentation and Quiz competitions
Interested students participated in poster presentation and also in quiz competition. The department of CHEMISTRY conducts poster presentation and quiz competition to the students for imparting and develop their confidence.
Field Trips
Field-based approach is effective in helping students to achieve the knowledge required to fulfil the natural Science syllabus learning objectives, as well as to develop other competencies such as scientific reasoning and inquiry capacities.
