HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

•  Human Rights Day is the Day in 1948 the united Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration OF Human Rights.
• The formal inception of Human Rights Day date from 1950.                                                    
• To bring knowledge about importance of Human Rights, in our college we have celebrated Human Rights Day by both NSS unit and department of Arts.
• This programme was organized in the III BA class room.
•  All Arts students attended this session.
•  Priyadarshini student of III BA has invited lecturers.
• M.Navya mam has given the speech addressing the students about importance of Human Rights Day.
• Some students has given speeches about Human Rights importance. 

ENVIRONMENTAL DAY

05-06-2022

• On the occasion of World Environmental Day,i.e on Jun - 05-2022. In our college TTWRDC (W) Khammam, we have celebrated it.
• On this day all students participated very actively.
• Students have prepared charts and models regarding Environmental Events.
• They beautifully picturised the charts showing – how to save trees, how to conserve water and avoiding plastic.
• English session Principal and Staff members have attended.
• Students and staff participated actively in this programme.
• On this occasion we have conducted Essay writing and painting competition.
• In this students have participated very actively.

NSS DAY

• NSS was formally launched on 24^th Sept ,1969.The birth century year of the father of the Nation.
• Therefore 24 Sept, is celebrated every year as NSS DAY with appropriate programmes & activities.
• On this occasion, in our college our NSS unit has organized NSS DAY.
• In this programme Principal mam K.Manasa mam along with the staff and students was attended.
• This programme was organized at 3 ‘o’ clock of the day at III BZC class room.
• SK.Reshma, has given speech about the importants of NSS DAY and  why we should celebrated this and events of NSS.
• Principal mam K.Manasa mam has given speech regarding NSS DAY.
• Students also shared their experiences being a NSS Volunteer.          

CONSTITUTION DAY

26-11-2022

• The NSS unit of TTWRDC(W) Khammam has organized Constitution Day along with Department of Political Science.
• In this session , all the students were participated very actively.
• In this programme, Principal mam Dr. V.Umadevi along with all the staff members have attended.
• Department of Political science conducted essay writing. In this competition students were participated very interestingly.
• And distributed prizes to winner & runners.
• Incharge Vice Principal Hareesh Sir & H.O.D of Political Science M.Navya mam have given speeches regarding Constitution Day.
• M.Navya mam given speech and aware students that why we are celebrated  Constitution Day.
• On the occasion of 125^th birth anniversary in the year 2015, central Govt has declared. Nov-26 to celebrate as Constitution Day to promote values & citizens.
• In this session, some students also given speeches about Constitution Day.
• In this way, we have celebrated Constitution Day in our college.

                           YOGA DAY                          

                            21-06-2022

•  The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his on address in 2014. Suggested an annual of yoga on June 21.
• The International Day of yoga aims to raise awareness world wide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.
• On this day in our college NSS unit as organized the meeting with the students.
• To inculuculate yoga practice and also to develop Marshal arts with in the students.
• We have invited Mr. Jeevan Kumar Sir from SN&BGNR college.
• Jeevan Kumar Sir was a well trained Marshal arts trainer.
• He trained students towards the Marshal arts.
• Students have participated very actively.
• Sir teacher then some techniques and Marshal practices to overcome any unexpected situations happed in the society.

                                                   VACCINATION DRIVE-II

• With the instruction of Principal mam K.Manasa mam in our college TTWRDC (W) Khammam,NSS unit had organized the second time Vaccination Drive,for the students who had left in the first Vaccination and also for the students who have not taken their first dose yet.
• For this programme medical officer Jhonson garu and the ANM’S of Tanikella has come to the college.
• Then have given first and second dose of Covishield Vaccine to the students.To fight against (Covid-19) i.e Omicron.  

                                                                   CANCER DAY

• On Febreuary 04, we have celebrated world’s Cancer Day every year with the support of Principal mam Manasa mam.
• In our college TTWRDC (W) Khammam, our NSS unit for organized the Awareness programme on Cancer. In the programme NSS Programme Officer M.Premala and members one participated along with the Principal and college staff.
• In this programme students presented their charts to aware the causing agents and symptoms of Cancer to the students.
• Students are delivered speeches regarding Cancer.
• College staff and madams Rajitha,Sailaja,Kalyani,Principal mam had delivered speeches regarding causing agents of  Cancer and its controlling measures.
