                                    STUDENT SEMINARS

Student Seminars allows students to gain a better understanding of the material and to develop their research, presentation, and critical thinking skills. Students become more confident and independent. Attending a seminar has numerous benefits, including improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, networking with others and renewing motivation and confidence. Additionally, attending seminars can also help students to network with their peers and instructors, and to learn about current research and developments in their field of study.

FIELD TRIP

Field educational tours are considered best for students because these tours enable them to study flora of different regions in natural habitat. Studying plants in their natural habitat enhances our knowledge that is learnt from the classroom discussions and laboratory experiments.

An extension lecture is a part of an extension education program, which is an educational process that aims to create positive change in people.

                                  Bridge Course

To boost up the academic skills and confidence of students in the learning process, the Botany department conducts the Bridge Course for the students prior to the commencement of regular classes or at the beginning of the first semester.

The purpose of this Course is not only to bridge the gap between subjects studied previously and the subject to be studied in the programme, but also to clarify and revise the fundamental concept of topic.
