ACHIEVEMENTS :
BEST PRACTICE: P.G Entrance Chemistry Coaching for Intersered B.Sc. Chemistry Students
OBJECTIVES OF THE PRACTICE:
To bring awareness among the students about the various employment opportunities after persuing Masters in Chemistry. And also to guide them about the state level and national level exams to be held at each academic year.
Apart from this a proper coaching is also given the interested students who are willing to take Chemistry as their Master subject at Post-graduate level.
Chemistry, as forever always have a good chance for employment in Pharma Industry or other industries like Polymer Industry, Fertilizers and Pesticides Industry ., etc. Many Chemist post are also available in National Organisations like NTPC, ONGC, DRDO, BARC, KTPS, Heavy water plants etc. The employment in teaching for the basic sciences like chemistry is always a unfading opportunity.
Good potent students can even enter in to Research after their Masters in Chemistry by cracking National level examinations such as UGC-CSIR-NET or GATE . At state level, the exams are like PG-SET at each state level.
THE PRACTICE
The department of chemistry is encouraging the students to do their post-graduation in chemistry because the employment opportunities are more. Department of chemistry started free PG-coaching started in the year 2020 for the 1st out-going batch of 2018-21 B.Sc students. From then ,this PG-Coaching is continuing for each out-going batch.
